The question is not how many AI tools a business can adopt. The useful question is where better retrieval, faster drafting, structured analysis or reduced repetition supports something the business already needs to improve.
Starting with the technology can create projects looking for problems. Starting with a recurring friction point gives the team a way to judge whether AI is actually better than the current approach.
Treat AI like any other capability: define the job, source information, controls, owner and measure of benefit. If those are unclear, adding a model does not make the business requirement clearer.
